Swim With Wild Dolphins
Boats run out to the sandbanks where wild Atlantic spotted dolphins gather. They're genuinely wild and genuinely curious — no tanks, no enclosures, just an open-water encounter on their terms.
More Information
Bimini · The Bahamas
A sun-washed townhouse where ocean views, the pool and the marina are a barefoot walk away.
Wake up to open blue water, with the resort's infinity pool just below.
Multi-level living with space for the whole crew.
A real kitchen, a BBQ on the patio, and great island food around the corner.
A short flight or ferry to a completely different pace.
The Home
Beach, Please! is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you walk in. Light pours through the windows, the ceilings are high, and every room is done in the soft whites, sea-glass blues and warm woods that make a Bahamian morning feel the way it should.
Downstairs is where everyone gathers — an open kitchen that flows into the dining and sitting areas, so whoever's cooking never gets left out of the conversation. Upstairs, the bedrooms are quiet and cool, and the balcony looks out over the water — made for coffee at sunrise and something stronger at sunset.
Out on the patio there's a BBQ grill, so the day's catch — or just a good steak — can go straight on the fire while everyone hangs around outside. Step a little further and the resort does the rest: the infinity pool, the courtyard, the beach, and the marina just down the way.

The Island
Seven miles of island, fifty miles of ocean between you and Miami, and absolutely no reason to rush.
Boats run out to the sandbanks where wild Atlantic spotted dolphins gather. They're genuinely wild and genuinely curious — no tanks, no enclosures, just an open-water encounter on their terms.
More InformationBimini is one of the most reliable places on earth to see great hammerheads up close. They gather on the shallow flats west of the island through the cooler months, often joined by bull sharks.
More InformationA concrete-hulled freighter that ran aground in 1926 and later served as a rum-runners' stash during Prohibition. She still stands above the waterline, and the fish moved in long ago.
More InformationOff the north coast lies a half-mile run of enormous limestone blocks laid out in a neat line. Geologists call it natural. Everyone else calls it the Lost City of Atlantis. It sits in shallow water, so snorkelers can see it.
More InformationThe Gulf Stream runs right past the island, which is why Bimini claims the title. Blue marlin, sailfish, tuna and wahoo offshore — or stalk bonefish on the shallow flats with a fly rod.
More InformationThree continuous stretches of white sand run up North Bimini, Radio Beach among them. For something quieter, take a boat to the nearby cays and meet the famously friendly stingrays at Honeymoon Harbour.
More InformationPoet laureate Ashley Saunders spent decades building this house by hand from seashells, sea glass and salvaged material — an ever-growing tribute to the island and its dolphins, right in Alice Town.
More InformationThe Bimini Biological Field Station has studied sharks here for decades. Their 90-minute tour covers the research, a shark workup demo, and — when the timing works — wild juvenile lemon sharks in the mangroves.
More InformationPonce de León came looking for it here. A limestone well bearing the name sits near the South Bimini airport, while the mineral-rich Healing Hole hides deep in North Bimini's mangroves — best reached with a guide.
More InformationConch salad chopped to order while you watch, cracked conch, fresh snapper and a cold Kalik. It's the single most Bimini thing you can do, and it costs almost nothing.
More InformationThe Hilton at Resorts World Bimini anchors the north end of the island, with a casino, a handful of restaurants and bars, and a marina out front. It's the easy choice when you want a night out without leaving Bimini.
More InformationSoft, faintly sweet and a little buttery, Bimini bread is the island's most famous export. The local bakeries turn out fresh loaves daily — buy one warm to eat on the spot, then buy a second for the trip home.
More InformationHemingway fished these waters for two seasons in the 1930s, and Martin Luther King Jr. worked on his Nobel acceptance speech here. For a small island, Bimini has a long memory.

★★★★★"The photos don't do it justice. We were in the pool twenty minutes after we walked through the door and barely left the property for three days."

★★★★★"Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kids claimed the bunk room instantly."
The Ramirez Family
★★★★★"Coffee on the balcony every morning watching the water change color. That alone was worth the trip. We're already planning the next one."

Good to Know
There are three easy ways in, and most of our guests choose the first:
Once you're here, golf carts, taxis and your own two feet cover the whole island. Schedules and fares change seasonally, so confirm with the operator before you book your dates.
Yes. The townhouse sits within the resort grounds, so the infinity pool, the courtyard and beach access are all a short barefoot walk from your door, and you get ocean views from the balcony. The marina is just down the way.
No car needed. Bimini is about seven miles end to end. Most visitors rent a golf cart for a day or two to explore, and walk or grab a taxi the rest of the time.
Both. The kitchen is fully equipped if you'd like to cook, and there's a BBQ grill out on the patio — a favorite with guests who've had a good day on the water and want to grill their catch. There are grocery options on the island, though many guests stock up before arriving. That said, the local conch shacks and waterfront restaurants are a big part of the Bimini experience, so leave room for those.
Bimini is wonderful year-round. Winter and spring bring dry, breezy weather and the best visibility for diving. Summer is hotter and quieter, with warm water and great fishing. Hurricane season runs June through November, so travel insurance is always a smart idea.
